Jim So

International Experience

When it comes to international experience, Jim So certainly has that – having been born and raised in the UK, spending close to 16 years living and working in China, and a further three years working in the Hong Kong education industry.

Based in our regional hub in Hong Kong, Jim is the Regional Development Manager, Asia, specialising in the development of strategic relationships and public/private partnerships with government ministries and agencies, the corporate sector and academia. 

Jim has spent over 20 years in Asia dedicated to education reform and development, successfully promoting and building long-term programmes both in-country and across borders.

Jim has led and implemented many commercial and not-for-profit projects aimed at building learning and assessment frameworks, standardisation and recognition of qualifications, and advancing education through technology and online solutions. He holds master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge and the University of Leeds, UK.
