Designing for inclusivity and user experience

Backed by half a decade of experience in coaching and learning and development roles, Melanie brings a breadth of expertise to her role as instructional designer for Skills Consulting Group. With skills in learning technology and online learning solutions, Melanie focuses on designing for inclusivity and a high-quality user experience.

A key success for Melanie was her work with Fonterra, moving their apprenticeships online to improve accessibility and user experience. In 2020, Melanie also worked on adapting IMNZ courses from offline to online delivery.

Most recently, Melanie has led projects for the New Zealand Defence Force, creating learning resources for all levels of personnel, and writing and developing standards into a series of online courses.
